Late Shift Open Thread: Is Mizzou gonna let Pruitt do it?

Once again it’s a fairly light schedule of true, national-picture games for your evening viewing pleasure. Don’t let that stop you from tuning in. This is usually the set up for some of the wildest football of the year.

In the SEC Tennessee looks to get bowl eligible against Missouri on SEC Network. Nothing would give me more pleasure than watching the Vols lose to Mizzou, then have to beat Vandy to achieve bowl-eligibility. Well, some things would, but it’s a very short list.

Out west #6 Oregon takes on Arizona State on ABC. While the Herm Edwards experiment at ASU has definitely not been the dumpster fire some feared, Herm still hasn’t gotten that breakthrough victory he needs to make the Sun Devils any sort of PAC-12 contender in the long run. Maybe tonight’s the night.

TCU visits #9 Oklahoma on FOX with the Sooners looking to avoid a hangover from their near miss against Baylor and get tuned up for their Big XII title matchup with, well, Baylor.

Also, if you’re a true nut you can head over to the University of Hawaii’s Facebook page to catch an 11 p.m. stream of their evening tilt with San Diego State. What else you gonna do? Sleep?
