Brought to you by Florida bowl games against Big 10 also-rans... Please, Lord, not again.

It’s another big weekend of college football. There may not be as many marquee matchups as we’ve become accustomed to, but there is still plenty of good viewing to go around. Your Dawgs are taking on the Aggies in what will be the season’s final game between the hedges, before Kirby and the boys make their biennial trip to Historic Mark Richt Field. We also have the Buckeyes trying to get over what appears to be the final hurdle on their way to the playoff and Oklahoma looking to hold off an inconsistent Horned Frogs squad. The weather should be great and the tailgating should be amazing. Let’s go:

And now for the most interesting options in each time slot:

Wednesday

Akron Zips @ Miami (OH) Redhawks, 7:30 p.m., ESPNU

I’m starting to feel like ESPN is pushing a pretty strong pro-Ohio football agenda every Wednesday night.,,

Thursday

NC State Wolfpack @ Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 8:00 pm, ESPN

If you haven’t seen the “culture change” Geoff Collins has brought to North Avenue, you’re in for a real treat. It’s just spectacular.

Friday

Colorado State Rams @ Wyoming Cowboys, 9:30 p.m., ESPN2

Will it be Mike Bobo’s last stand with the Rams? If they lose to the Cowboys, it will be his 12th straight loss to one of Colorado State’s traditional rivals.

Noon

#8 Penn State Nittany Lions @ #2 Ohio State Buckeyes, 12:00 p.m., FOX

There are few things in the world I loathe as much as rooting for a James Franklin-coached team, but sometimes you just have to.

Afternoon

Texas A&M Aggies @ #4 Georgia Bulldogs, 3:30 p.m., CBS

The last actual speedbump on the road to LSU comes to the Classic City. And as always, I’ll preemptively say “Shut up, Gary!”

Evening

TCU Horned Frogs @ #9 Oklahoma Sooners, 8:00 p.m., FOX

I’m not expecting this game to be especially competitive, but the alternative is watching LSU dismantle what is left of the football program at Arkansas, so...

Late Night

Washington Huskies @ Colorado Buffaloes, 10:00 p.m., ESPN

It’s PAC-12 After Dark... but it’s not the top shelf stuff.

That’s all for this week, folks. Until next time...

GOOOO DAWGS!!!
