Georgia Overview

Georgia went to Auburn and came out with the W, defeating the Tigers 21-14 and clinching the SEC East title.

Punter Jake Camarda earned SEC Special Teams Player of the Week, while ILB Monty Rice received the SEC Defensive Player of the Week for their efforts against Auburn.

The Dawg held Auburn scoreless through three quarters, but as is tradition, things got interesting late before Travon Walker’s sack sealed the victory.

This week, Georgia hosts newly AP-ranked Texas A&M for the first time since the Aggies joined the SEC.

Movers

Fell Out: #21 Navy, #22 Texas, #24 Indiana

Newcomers: #23 Appalachian State, #24 Texas A&M, #25 Virginia Tech

Overrated

#10 Minnesota. Yes, The Gophers have had a magical year, and I don’t want to take any of that away. I hope they make the Rose Bowl. But the teams behind them would beat them on a neutral field.

Underrated

#21 Oklahoma State. The Cowboys are coming on strong late, and I think they will give the Sooners all they can handle in Bedlam. Which, Bedlam is an awesome underrated rivalry.

This Week’s Top 25 Matchups

#8 Penn State at #2 Ohio State

#24 Texas A&M at #4 Georgia
