Your University of Georgia Bulldogs carded their ninth win of the 2019 – 2020 season last night to clinch their third consecutive trip to the SEC Championship Game. The Classic City Canines took a 7 – 0 lead by the end of the first quarter and never, ever relinquished it.

It is our intention to celebrate Georgia Bulldog Football Wins whenever and wherever they occur. The ugliness of any particular win is irrelevant for the purposes of the Winning Smart Victory Post.

It is therefore my deepest honor and privilege to bring to you this week’s edition of: The Winning Smart Victory Post.

Coach Kirby Smart coached his 52nd game tonight for the Red & Black. He currently boasts a 41-11 record and a 0.7885 winning percentage, having carded his forty-first win overall over the Auburn University Tigers.

At the identical juncture in their careers:

Vince Dooley’s 52nd game as head coach resulted in a Georgia Bulldog win over the Auburn Tigers in the 1968 season. Giving Coach Dooley a record of 37-12-3 and 0.7404 percentage.

Coach Mark Richt was 42-10 (0.8077) after beating Wisconsin in the Outback Bowl at the end of his fourth season as head coach.

Fifty two games into his head coaching career Kirby Smart is one game behind Coach Mark Richt and ahead of Coach Vince Dooley by 2 ½ games. As of now, he is holding his own versus the two winningest coaches in Georgia Football History.

As always . . .
