It’s another solid week of college football action! We, of course, have the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry, but there are also a bevy of quality options across the TV schedule. Things are about to get clearer in the Big 12, Notre Dame-Navy looks to be as meaningful as it’s been in years, and we’ll see if the Golden Gophers can keep rowing. The Conference USA leading Bulldogs take on a Thundering Herd squad that has won 4 straight. There are worse ways to spend a Friday night.

#11 Florida Gators @ Missouri Tigers, 12:00 pm, CBS

I’m not especially worried about the Gators retaking the lead in the East. But a Tiger win here would pretty much put things on ice. Also, rooting for Mizzou against Florida may be one of the easiest choices in the world.

Afternoon

#4 Georgia Bulldogs @ #12 Auburn Tigers, 3:30 pm, CBS

Probably the day’s best game... but you were going to watch it regardless. Auburna delenda est!

Evening

#10 Oklahoma Sooners @ #13 Baylor Bears, 7:30 pm, ABC

I feel like it’s time for the Big 12’s patented brand of “just no defense whatsoever” to give us all a thrilling and wildly unpredictable game.
