NFL Dawgs Update

Anytime an NFL Dawg has a big moment at the next level, it;s a proud moment for Georgia fans. As usual, those such moments occurred again this week.

Her’es a rundown of some NFL Dawg highlights.

On the road in Pittsburgh, Todd Gurley rushed 12 times for 73 yards as the Rams fell to the Steelers.

Nick Chubb has now rushed for more than 100 yards in three of the past four games, rushing for 116 against Buffalo. He has run into franchise history, being the only other player besides Jim Brown with 900 or more yards through nine games.

The Bears held off the Lions thanks in part to Roquan Smith’s 11 tackles and Leonard Floyd’s two.

In a 34-27 loss to the Jets, the Giants defense saw three NFL Dawgs chip in on defense with Alec Ogletree, Lorenzo Carter and Deandre Baker having 7,3 and 1 tackles.

Mecole Hardman continues to puzzle NFL defenses. His 63-yard touchdown catch and four kick returns for 90 yards was part of a wild, 35-32 loss to the Titans, who had Ben Jones starting at center.

John Jenkins had a handful of tackles for the Dolphins in a win against the Colts, who saw Justin Houston pick up three tackles.

Shawn Williams had seven tackles and Geno Atkins had one in another loss for the Bengals.

The Chargers lost and tight game to the Raiders despite the 11 tackles of Thomas Davis.
