The weather is cooling down, but the SEC schedule is heating up. We are approaching the heart of the conference schedule, so let’s take a look around the league to update everyone on what’s happenin’.
Here’s what’s happening around the SEC:
- Auburn running back JaTarvious Whitlow is expected to be out for at least a month after undergoing a procedure on his left knee. This is a big blow to an Auburn offense relying on a true freshman quarterback.
- Alabama receiver Devonta Smith has been added to the Biletnikoff Award watch list after lighting it up the past two weeks. That brings the Crimson Tide total to four receivers on that list.
- Prior to their anticipated showdown, Florida and LSU are duking it out off the field for the title of “DBU”. We’ll see who makes the bigger plays on Saturday.
- Ahead of their game against Tennessee, Mississippi State is still deciding between Tommy Stevens and Garrett Shrader for the start against the Vols.
Until next time… GO DAWGS!!!
