Winning Smart Victory Post #37: The Rocky Top Jingle by J. Fromm

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: OCT 05 Georgia at Tennessee
This man walked out of post-game interviews singing a quick jingle, “Gooood Ole Rocky Top Wooooo”

Your University of Georgia Bulldogs carded their fifth win of the 2019 – 2020 season last night. The Classic City Canines went on the road to that Orange Disaster Neyland Stadium and whipped the University of Volunteers 43 to 14 (and the SEC Refs too.) I’m fairly certain UT”s freshman quarterback Brian Maurer will remember the trucking he got from Eric Stokes for the rest of his college football career.

It is our intention to celebrate Georgia Bulldog Football Wins whenever and wherever they occur. The ugliness of any particular win is irrelevant for the purposes of the Winning Smart Victory Post.

It is therefore my deepest honor and privilege to bring to you this week’s edition of: The Winning Smart Victory Post.

Coach Kirby Smart currently boasts a 37-10 record and a 0.7872 winning percentage, having carded his thirty-seventh win overall over the Tennessee Volunteers

At the identical juncture in their careers:

Vince Dooley’s 47th game as head coach resulted in a Georgia Bulldog win over the Ole Miss Rebels early in the 1968 season. Giving Coach Dooley a record of 33-12-2 and 0.7234 percentage.

Coach Mark Richt was 38-9 (0.8085) after beating the Vanderbilt Commodores in his fourth season as head coach.

Forty-seven games into his head coaching career Kirby Smart is one game behind Coach Mark Richt and ahead of Coach Vince Dooley by 3 games. As of now, he is holding his own versus the two winningest coaches in Georgia Football History.

As always . . .

Go ‘Dawgs !!!
