The Georgia defense decided not to show up on the first drive. The offense has popped in to say hello sporadically. Poor Jake Camarda looks like his head is back in Athens. Despite all that, the ‘Dawgs still find themselves trailing only 10-0 at the end of the first.
The bad news is that this would be the biggest hole Georgia’s crawled out of all year if they pull this one out. And between the dropped passes, turnovers, and general lackadaisical half-assedness on exhibit so far, there’s no reason to expect things to improve.
The good news is that this is far and away the worst this UGA team has looked since LSU, which means that mere reversion to the mean could get the Red and Black back in this one and receiving the kick to start the second half.
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
