Your Week 2 College Football TV Schedule

Brought to you by James Franklin and the indisputable fact that beating Appalachian State 31-10 is the exact same thing as squeaking out a win in overtime.

Man, it is good to have college football back!

If you were as excited about Week 1 as I was, only to find yourself somewhat let down by the blowouts and cupcakes, things are about to get better. We still have some teams taking a big step down in Week 2 following some stouter opening competition (Arkansas St./Alabama and ETSU/Tennessee come to mind), but we are getting a step closer to awesome football across the board as many teams open their conference schedules.

So without any further ado, I present to you...

Your Week 2 College Football TV Schedule >>>>> CLICK HERE!!!

And now, on to my picks for your best viewing options in each time slot...

Thursday

Kennesaw State Owls @ Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles, 7:00 p.m., ESPNU

The television gods decided to make my Thursday and Friday decisions super easy this week by only televising one game each night! In this slot, we have some local interest as Kennesaw State aims to hasten Georgia Tech’s decline toward becoming the 5th best team in the state by defeating Tennessee Tech.

Friday

#16 TCU Horned Frogs @ SMU Mustangs, 8:00 p.m., ESPN2

Again, no choices in this slot... but this could be an intriguing contest. What’s that? SMU opened the season by losing to North Texas by more than 3 touchdowns? Well then, move along.

Saturday Noon

#18 Mississippi St. Bulldogs @ Kansas State Wildcats, 12:00 p.m., ESPN

I guess we’re about to find out how much of a pain in the rear the Bizarro Bulldogs are going to be this season. But step away from that for a second and tell me... doesn’t this just seem like the kind of game Old Man Snyder is destined to win? Should be interesting to say the least.

Saturday Afternoon

#3 Georgia Bulldogs @ #24 South Carolina Gamecocks, 3:00 p.m., CBS

Talent doesn’t matter. Coaching doesn’t matter. Recruiting doesn’t matter. History doesn’t matter. Nothing matters. Except how you feel this one will end up. That matters.

Evening

#2 Clemson Tigers @ Texas A&M Aggies, 7:00 p.m., ESPN

It’s time for a BO BATTLE! Dabo and Jimbo rekindle their pigskin bromance with Fisher in a slightly uglier shade of dark red.

Late Night

#15 Michigan State Spartans @ Arizona State Sun Devils, 10:45 p.m., ESPN

Let’s see how Sparty handles the Sun Devils after last weekend’s close call against Utah State. I’m gonna predict “Not Well”.

That’s all for this week, folks. Until next time...

GOOOO DAWGS!!!
