It’s once again time to take a look at some of the finest photography from this weekend’s Georgia football action.
So yeah. I think that was probably targeting. Moving on....
D’Andre Swift goes airborne in the first quarter.
And this was as close as any Austin Peay defender would get to Demetrius Robertson on his 72 yard touchdown dash. Team speed does indeed kill, and this team has killer speed.
It’s not here yet, but there will come a day when Justin Fields is the field general of the Bulldog offense.
Elijah Holyfield contributed a 17 yard touchdown run on Saturday, but we’ll definitely see more of him against South Carolina.
When you're a 48.5 point favorite it can be hard to get a call for illegal use of hands. Freshman Cade Mays saw time at both tackle and (wearing #42) as a tight end/H back a la Aulden Bynum.
Deangelo Gibbs fought through medical issues that took him away from the team in the spring and a shoulder issue that hampered him in camp to play some productive snaps at the Star position. Gibbs showed great range, and finished the day tied for second on the team with 4 tackles.
Former Lee County standout Otis Reese was among 16 freshmen who saw the field. Though some of them will end up redshirting, some will also end up becoming key contributors, and reinforcing Kirby Smart’s ethos that the best players play, regardless of class.
