First Quarter Open Thread: Nothing sucks like a Big Orange.

Georgia kicks off against Tennessee at 3:30 pm on CBS as a 31 point favorite. The Vols are coming off a thrashing at the hands of the Florida Gators aided by six Tennessee turnovers.

Georgia enters off an unsatisfying 14 point road win over Mizzou. Which is to say, both of these things I have something to prove this afternoon. I tend to think that the visitors are not quite as bad as last week’s results would indicate.

But I also think the home team can play a lot better than it did seven days ago as well. If it does, that’s bad news for the crowd in creamsicle orange. Personally, I’d love to see if 41-0 looks as good on our scoreboard as it does theirs.
