Thursday Morning ‘Dawg Bites Knows You Can’t Change That

Ray Parker apparently can’t actually play bass. And Dabo Swinney can’t actually assuage two quarterbacks. And Coach Kirby Smart is going to have to rely on Jim Chaney calling the right pass plays at the right time. And for all of these, you can’t change that.

On to news for the Bulldog football fan in you:

Were you concerned about the Georgia run defense? Especially with Monty Rice nursing an MCL sprain? You weren’t the only one.

We know about Ben Cleveland. But the messages on D’Andre Swift were mixed. Let’s hear from the horse’s mouth.

Do you want to relive the 2016 Georgia Tennessee game? Of course you don’t. Spoiler alert: it still doesn’t end well.

How does it sit with you when the headline makes a definitive quantitative statement, then the story blows right by the headline with a different result? But hey, if you want to fix Tennessee, no one said it would be easy.

While Sam Pittman hums away with “every day I’m shuffling”, we do have a little consistency on the offensive line. And he sits squarely in the middle.

If you’re Clemson, you now have less options at quarterback. Or at least for singing at the old folks home come Christmas. But if you’re Tennessee, you allegedly have choices. And your starter, for what it’s worth.

Outside the world of football, there’s a Georgia Bulldog playing a team event at the highest level in the ultimate individual sport. Bubba Watson automatically qualified for the United States Ryder Cup team, contested every two years and held in Paris this weekend. He was available to the media today and came across as... unique. Oh, and Tiger is good at golf.

We’ll be back later today with all your favorites leading up to Game Day. So stick around, and as always...

GO ‘DAWGS!!!
