First Quarter Open Thread: Take the Tigers by the Tail

In case you hadn't heard, Missouri will apparently be wearing a new gold helmet during today's game. I think that falls under the category of “fake juice.”

The Tiger offense is going to get its share of yardage. The big issue for the home team is going to be its porous defense. I expect Georgia to try to get the lead, run the ball to control the clock and give the Red and Black defense time to breathe between offensive onslaughts. Mix in a couple of well-timed turnovers and this one should go according to plan.

Score prediction: UGA 52, Mizzou 27.
