Happy Earth, Wind, and Fire Day y’all. While we hope to have a great night tonight, here’s to remembering the 21st night of September, 2019, when Notre Dame comes to Athens, Georgia to play the Bulldogs in what we hope will be yet another signature win for the Dawgs.
However, before we start truly thinking about 365 days from today, our focus is on Missouri and overcoming Drew Lock and the Tigers’ potent offense.
Before the games begin, let’s take a look around the conference to see what’s happening around the SEC:
- Auburn lost three players this week to transfer: receiver Nate Craig-Myers, tight end Jalen Harris, and defensive back Jayvaughn Myers. Things are fine on The Plains.
- Alabama’s renovation of Bryant-Denney Stadium will see the capacity shrink to under 100,000. But if you told a Bama fan you were impressed with their 200,000+ capacity stadium, they wouldn’t fight you over that fact.
- The 2019 SEC schedule has been released, which includes several juicy matchups as well as two bye weeks. Check it out here for yourself.
Well, that’s really it. Not a lot has happened, but I’ve got a feeling there will be tons to talk about after Saturday’s games. The schedule looks weak, which typically means there will be upsets galore. Here’s to the Dawgs dodging that bullet like Keanu Reeves and taking care of business once again in CoMo.
Until next time… GO DAWGS!!!
