Kirby Smart not pleased with “silly, stupid penalties”, but loves his defense’s fire

Kirby Smart greeted the media this afternoon following the Bulldogs’ convincing win over Middle Tennessee State, addressing some burning issues from today’s game, including:

• The “silly, stupid penalties” that hamstrung the Bulldogs offensively on occasion.

• The extent to which each of the sacks on Jake Fromm were actually on the sophomore QB.

• Why he’s unconcerned about the lack of sacks by Georgia’s defense on the day.

• Why teammates were just as happy about Elijah Holyfield’s big day as fans were.

• The “love” between Brenton Cox and D’Andre Walker.
