Tuesday Morning Dawg Bites Enjoys Chicken Biscuits for Breakfast

Welcome to Tuesday Morning Y’all!! I hope you enjoyed your Monday at the office after a decisive Bulldog win on Saturday half as much as I did. It’s a well known fact in my office that if Georgia wins big on Saturday, I’ll be a happy girl come Monday.

Before we get into the meat of the morning new, let’s all say a prayer for all those in the path of Hurricane Irma and our own Dave The Dawg who will spend countless hours tracking, forecasting and forewarning friends and foes alike.

• Buried in here you’ll find Coach Smart had a thought about Baker’s fumble.
• Every Dawg’s favorite kicker Rodrigo Blakenship was named SEC Special Teams Player of the Week for his perfect performance in the bad Columbia.
• In case you were worried, there is no quarterback controversy in Athens.
• Tyrique McGee was spotted practicing Monday (and other practice notes.) Maybe we’ll see him this weekend?
• Looking ahead, we’ll have an early kickoff against Mizzou.
• Two of our Ladies Volleyball team also earned SEC Player of the Week honors.
