It’s Monday again. You’ve got planes to catch and bills to pay. But before the world blocks down on you on the way up to the second level like Cade Mays coming off the bench, let us catch you up on what you need to know this morning in Bulldog Nation.

The gang at Garnet and Black Attack has considered what they learned from this weekend’s game. One takeaway? Yeah, turns out South Carolina still has a long way to go talent-wise to catch up with college football’s big boys. Still. Again. Whatever.

The Gamecocks themselves appear to still be in denial, though the State’s Josh Kendall breaks down for them how far behind they really are.

South Carolina fans and national commentators wondered repeatedly headed into Saturday how Georgia would handle the heat in Columbia. Because, you know, it never gets hot in Athens in August. But what if the hotter it gets...the bigger the Bulldogs’ advantage?
