Let me be among the first to wish you a very happy Independence Day. On this, the 242nd anniversary of the day two days after Richard Henry Lee’s resolution declaring the colonies sovereign, you have a lot of freedoms to celebrate.

Your freedom from having Paul Johnson as the head coach of your favorite football team. Your independence from relying on Dan Mullen’s eternally 8-4 genius to resurrect the Red and Black. Your inalienable right not to wear creamsicle orange. Ever. For any reason. I’m sure you can think of a few more.
