Georgia picked up a second commit from a highly rated Louisiana prospect this evening when NFL legacy Makiya Tongue pledged to the Bulldogs.

Tongue, whose father Reggie spent ten seasons in the NFL, picked the ‘Dawgs over offers from Texas, Florida, Auburn, Arizona State, Clemson, and Michigan.
The 6’2, 211 pounder is listed by the recruiting services as an athlete (the #15 athlete in the 247Sports composite to be specific), but he will likely begin his career in the Classic City at wide receiver. However if things don't work out there Tongue projects well to safety or linebacker, depending on his physical development.
With excellent size and superior ball skills I think there’s a good chance he sticks at receiver. The question remains whether Georgia will be done at that position now with Tongue joining five star instate commits Jadon Haselwood and Dominick Blaylock. For my part, I know better than to ever say that Kirby Smart is done recruiting. Until later....
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
