U.S. Open Day One: TV, Streaming, and Bulldog Tee Times

New, 2 comments

156 of the world’s best golfers, including 4 former Georgia Bulldogs, are about to tee it up in the major tournament for those who love to see professionals made to look like amateurs.

Shinnecock awaits, a course that’s always there when the USGA decides it’s time to smite everyone with the temerity to break par.

Brian Harman will be the first ‘Dawg off the tee at 7:29 am, followed by Bubba playing with defending champ Brooks Koepka and Jason Day.

Russell Henley hits the links at 12:52 pm. Kevin Kisner unfortunately won’t play until 1:58 pm, and is likely to find some nice, crispy greens to putt on. Call me crazy, but I expect those playing late to find the going difficult. And by difficult I mean aggressively penal.

Coverage begins via live stream at USOpen.com at 7:30 am. Television coverage runs from 9:30 to 4:30 pm on FS1, then picks up on FOX until 7:30. Until later...

Go ‘Dawgs!!!
