Georgia completed its third practice of the spring on Saturday, and afterward top ‘Dawg Kirby Smart shared his impressions so far on a variety of subjects. Kirbs talked young defensive backs, competition to replace likely top ten draft pick Roquan Smith, and just couldn’t stop gushing about....Stetson Bennett?
Smart also had interesting thoughts on the single biggest challenge Andrew Thomas faces in moving over to left tackle, and swears that his defense is (despite personnel losses) ahead of where it was this time last spring.
Finally, there’s also a really insightful answer near the end explaining what Georgia is doing to make its high school coaching clinic different. It’s worth paying attention to the nexus between how Smart views his interactions with the Peach State’s high school coaches. Stick around for the full thing, because there’s also some very interesting news about a former Bulldog at the very end. Check it out. Until later...
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
