Not Another National Signing Day Open Comment Thread

NCAA Football: CFP National Championship Game-Alabama vs Georgia Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Here we go again.

National Signing Day, Part Deux is here. And while Georgia (like most schools) filled the majority of scholarships in December, there are still a few major targets left on the board. For Georgia today looks like a numbers game. There are more very good football players who would like to come to Athens than there are scholarships to give. It’s a definite first world college football problem, but a problem nonetheless.

These are the announcements most likely to be of interest to UGA fans:

Jordan Davis: 9:00 AM

Otis Reese: 10:00 AM

Tyson Campbell: 10:00 AM

Tramel Walthour: 10:30 AM

Quay Walker: 11:00 AM

Tommy Bush: 12:00 PM

Rick Sandidge: 2:30 PM

There are also a couple of 2019 prospects set to announce today, including elite tight end Ryland Goede, expected to choose between Georgia and Auburn (the ‘Dawgs are a pretty strong favorite).

We’ll be here all day with news, breakdowns of the newest ‘Dawgs, and commentary on what it all means for the future of the Red and Black. Let’s bring ‘em home, y’all.

Go ‘Dawgs!!!
