Georgia offers exciting 2019 quarterback

If we’ve said it once we’ve said it a thousand times: you cannot have enough quarterback talent. Kirby Smart knows this as well as anyone, which explains why even with a sophomore starter getting early Heisman consideration and arguably the top freshman QB in the 2018 class the Visored One this week offered a dynamic 2019 prospect from a powerhouse program.

David Baldwin is a 6’4, 215 pound signal caller from football factory IMG Academy. While Baldwin is originally from southern California he’s now in Bradenton with UGA commit Nolan Smith and several other elite Bulldog prospects.

Baldwin is pretty elite in his own right. While 247Sports only rates him a three star prospect and the #10 dual threat QB in the country, he claims offers from Arizona, Florida, Ole Miss, Missouri, and Utah among others. I expect there will be more big time offers coming soon.

As the second play in this highlight reel makes clear, Balswin has phenomenal athleticism. But he also has good touch and plenty of arm strength in the passing game. While he’s still a little raw, the material is there for him to become a special player. Until later...
