The head Bulldog delivered uncharacteristically brief, but characteristically passionate, thoughts on Georgia’s 35-28 loss to Alabama and what it means for the Red and Black’s playoff hopes.
If anyone thought Kirby Smart’s assault on the Alabama Citadel was over, I get the sense from his demeanor that it may just be getting started. Coach Smart’s prefatory remarks were a bit more conciliatory, and I think boiled this game down to its essential essence: a veteran Alabama team made plays down the stretch. A young-ish Georgia team, perhaps equally as talented, did not.
