Your Week 11 College Football TV Schedule

Brought to you by the American Sheep and Goat Council... which has asked us to remind Auburn fans that “BAAAAA!” does not equal consent.

What a beautiful view... not a Tiger fan in sight. Just as God intended.

We only have a few weeks left in the regular season and things are about to get wild. They always do. It’ll all come crashing down for some and others will rise to take their place. It is the way of things. Remember last year when it looked so certain that Auburn was going to be in the playoff? Ha! So when you hear someone say no one can beat Alabama or that Notre Dame couldn’t possibly lose one of it’s last 3 games, just remember that the only thing we know for certain about college football is that uncertainty reigns.

Anyway, let’s get to it:

Now on to my picks for your best viewing options in each time slot...

Thursday

Wake Forest Demon Deacons @ #14 N.C. State Wolfpack, 7:30, ESPN

This is hard because Wake Forest is playing some truly putrid football (at least when they aren’t playing Bobby Petrino, but we’ll get to him in a second). You know what? Nah. Don’t watch this. Watch North Carolina Central and Bethune-Cookman on ESPNU at 7:00.

Friday

Louisville Cardinals @ #13 Syracuse Orange, 7:00 pm, ESPN

The Bobby Petrino fail train just keeps rolling along. I’ve only watched Syracuse once this year and it was at the very beginning of the season. I’m interested to see what a #13 Syracuse looks like.

Saturday Noon

#10 Ohio State Buckeyes @ #18 Michigan State Spartans, 12:00 pm, FOX

I can feel it now. We’re approaching that special time that only comes around once, maybe twice a decade. Of course, I’m talking about Urban Meyer retirement time! As you know, this is always preceded by Urban Meyer gets caught in a cover up and looks like he’s lost interest time and is followed shortly by Urban Meyer comes out of retirement and calls his new gig his “dream job” time. I’m trying to come up with a name for the whole cycle. I’m open to suggestions, but it will need to include some variation of “sore loser” and “widdle biddie baby”.

Saturday Afternoon

#16 Mississippi St. Bulldogs @ #1 Alabama Crimson Tide, 3:30 pm, CBS

I mean, it is the marquee game of the afternoon slot so... watch this until Bama pulls away and then flip over to watch Mike Gundy challenge Lincoln Riley to a fist fight.

Evening

#24 Auburn Tigers @ #5 Georgia Bulldogs, 7:00 pm, ESPN

Auburna delenda est.

Late Night

California Golden Bears @ USC Trojans, 10:30, ESPN

This is your best option, but it’s still not a very good one.

That’s all for this week, folks. Until next time...

GOOOO DAWGS!!!
