So, are there any decent games tonight?
There might be one or two. Alabama/LSU is obviously the marquee matchup of the day’s college football schedule. Baton Rouge at night for a top three matchup? Sure, why not?
In addition to that 8:00 CBS matchup, #4 Notre Dame will take on Northwestern at 7:15 on ESPN in a game that some have circled as a chance for Notre Dame to stumble on the way to the College Football Playoff. #7 Oklahoma travels to face Texas Tech in Lubbock, where weird stuff happens after dark. They play football there, too though (8:00, ABC).
And if you’re looking for late night entertainment I highly recommend the 10:45 ESPN kickoff between Cal and #8 Washington State in Pullman. Midnight eastern football on the Palouse is one of life’s hidden pleasures, and you should take advantage of it when you have the chance.
So sit back, bask in another SEC East title, and enjoy yourself. The college football season is hitting the home stretch, so let’s enjoy it while we can. Until later . . .
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
