NFL Dawgs Update

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Rams Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

How the Bulldogs in the NFL fared in Week 11:

Monday night’s epic Rams-Chiefs thriller was the cherry on the top of the NFL weekend as far as the NFL Dawgs were concerned.

In the Giants 38-35 win over the Bucs, Alec Ogletree ran back a pick 15 yards. Lorenzo Carter also had a tackle for the G-Men.

The Lions eked out a 20-19 win over the Panthers with Matthew Stafford going 23-of-37 for 220 yards and a touchdown. Thomas Davis had six tackles for Carolina.

Both Roquan Smith and Leonard Floyd played key roles in a 25-20 Bears win over the Vikings with seven and five tackles.

Oh yes, that Rams - Chiefs game. Todd Gurley continued to lead the NFL in a bevy of offensive categories, rushing for 55 yards and having 39 receiving yards.

For the Chiefs, Chris Conley had seven passes for 74 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Justin Houston had four tackles, a sack and forced fumble on the defensive side of things.

While it was a tough day for the Titans and Ben Jones in a 38-10 loss to the Colts, Indy got a contribution from Corey Moore, who had a tackle.

Abry Jones had a tackle for the Jaguars in a loss to Pittsburgh.

The Bengals, again with Cordy Glenn and Clint Boling on the offensive line, fell despite a Shawn Williams interception and four tackles, one for a loss from Geno Atkins.

Go Dawgs!
