It’s rivalry week, Dawg Nation! Time to welcome Tech back between the hedges, where they unthinkably have won two straight. We need to body slam them Alec Ogletree style for 60 long minutes Saturday.

In the midst of hating Tech, let’s take a look around the league to see what the other 13 programs are up to.

Here’s what happening around the SEC:

  • Arkansas has suspended two defensive starters for this weekend’s game for socializing with Mississippi State cheerleaders prior to the Razorbacks’ game last week. If this isn’t the epitome of “Shooters shoot”, then I don’t know what is.
  • Tua Tagovailoa’s Heisman award is beginning to be threatened by Kyler Murray. Honestly, if you’re not a Bama fan, then there is no reason to watch this drawn-out, increasingly boring television event. Murray doesn’t pose a threat to Tagovailoa for the Heisman.
  • Vanderbilt is gunning for a third straight victory over Tennessee and to achieve bowl eligibility. This isn’t breaking news, but it’s the kind of nugget that the world needs to know. Vandy runs that state.
  • LSU quarterback Joe Burrow has no interest in trying oyster dressing. We’re just reaching now for news.

Until next time… GO DAWGS!!!
