NCAA Football: Florida at Georgia Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Friday, Dawg Nation! It’s the biggest weekend of the season to date, and I for one can’t wait to watch all the games tomorrow.

Before we post up at home or at our local Dawg Bar, let’s take a look at the news around the league.

Here’s what’s happening around the SEC:

  • South Carolina has added a make-up game against Akron on December 1st due to Hurricane Michael causing the cancellation of their game against Marshall.
  • The NCAA has lifted the recruiting ban against Ole Miss, while maintain the bowl ban in place for the 2018 season.
  • Florida will have orange end zones for the first time in 29 years. After the loss in the Cocktail Party, the Gators are going to odd measures to keep excitement going.
  • Auburn athletic director Allen Greene wants a bit of space between the Georgia and Alabama games that Auburn plays the last three weeks of every season. I’ll admit, that is a tough ask for the Tigers, especially since they are both either home and away the same season.

Until next time… GO DAWGS!!!
