It’s the home stretch, Dawg Nation! As we inch closer to our showdown with Alabama in Atlanta, let’s pause and take a look around the league and see what is making news.
Here’s what’s happening around the SEC:
- Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa appears to be ok after getting banged up against Mississippi State. Coach Nick Saban stated that Tagovailoa could have gone back in if needed, and that he expects Tagovailoa to start against the Citadel.
- Mississippi State Athletic Director John Cohen spoke with the SEC office regarding the extremely questionable officiating in their game versus Alabama. Officiating benefitting Bama? Now where have we seen that before??
- Kentucky wide receiver Dorian Baker did not play against Tennessee due to suspension, Kentucky coach Mark Stoops confirmed.
- The kickoff for the Clemson-South Carolina is now set for 7:00 pm EST. This one may not be close, folks.
Until next time… GO DAWGS!!!
