Brought to you by... The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party — It’s outdoors, there are cocktails, and it’s a party. Calling the game something else won’t make that any less true... so stop being a baby and drink your Jägermeister.

I’m over that nonsense from a couple of weeks ago. There is white hot hate running through every particle of my being and it’s time for another edition of the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. I’m told there are other games too. These are they:

On to my picks for your best viewing options in each time slot...

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets @ Virginia Tech Hokies, 7:30 p.m., ESPN

This edition of the ACC’s “Thursday Night Lights” may be the funniest Thursday night lineup since NBC’s “Must See TV”. The good news is Georgia Tech is halfway to bowl eligibility. The bad news is we’re past the halfway point in the the season and they only get to play UNC (1-5) once. The rest of Tech’s remaining schedule is comprised of Virginia Tech (4-2), Miami (5-2), Virginia (5-2), and UGA (6-1). Looks like the Jackets may be home for Christmas, which is, increasingly, becoming something you can count on.

#23 Utah Utes @ UCLA Bruins, 10:30 p.m., ESPN

PAC 12 After Dark on Friday? Sure, why not...

Saturday Noon

#2 Clemson Tigers @ Florida State Seminoles, 12:00 p.m., ESPN

I fail to see how this game could be anything but entertaining.

Saturday Afternoon

#7 Georgia Bulldogs vs. #9 Florida Gators, 3:30 p.m., CBS

Let the hate flow...

Also, preemptively, SHUT UP, GARY!!!

Navy Midshipmen vs. #3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (San Diego), 8:00 p.m., CBS

It’s entirely possible that the #6 Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma State Cowboys will be the better game. However, Navy has won this game more frequently (4 times) in the last 10 years than they did in the preceding 45. And I can’t stand Notre Dame.

Late Night

#19 Oregon Ducks @ Arizona Wildcats, 10:30 p.m., ESPN

And now for something not entirely different...

That’s all for this week, folks. Until next time...
