NFL Dawgs Update

Football is very good to former Georgia RBs

NFL: Cleveland Browns at Oakland Raiders Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Sometimes, it’s fun to keep up with the NFL Dawgs.

This week...really fun.

It stung for the Falcons, but AJ Green did...what AJ Green usually does. Make big catches in big moments.

Out west...the Browns may have lost in overtime, but not before Nick Chubb made the Raiders defense look silly.

Speaking on 2017 Georgia running backs...

The Rams are one of the NFL’s funnest offenses to watch. Todd Gurley is a big reason why.

Also around the NFL for former Dawgs...

Ramik Wilson had seven tackles for the Rams.

Justin Houston had two tackles and a sack for the Chiefs with Chris Conley having four catches for 13 yards.

In the Patriots - Dolphins matchup, David Andrews anchored the New England offensive line with Maurice Smith logging three tackles for the Dolphins.

Cincy’s big offensive day was also sparked by Cordy Glenn and Clint Boling on the offensive line. On defense, Geno Atkins had five tackles with Shawn Williams having four.

The Bears defense held Tampa to 10 points with Roquan Smith having four tackles and Leonard Floyd being credited with two.

The Lions fell to Dallas despite Matthew Stafford passing for 307 yards and two touchdowns.

Corey Moore continues to find ways to contribute with the Colts, having a special teams tackle this week.

Jordan Jenkins continues to be productive for the Jets, having three tackles in a loss to Jacksonville.

In the Saints 33-18 win against the Giants, Ben Watson had a catch for 23 yards. For the Giants defense, Alec Ogletree had another big day, making 12 tackles with Lorenzo Carter having four.

The Titans amassed nearly 400 yards with Ben Jones starting at center.

Go Dawgs!
