The Dawgs enter their bye week, and after their performance in LSU, it couldn’t come at a better time.

With Georgia off for a week, let’s focus on what the rest of the league is doing leading up to the October 20th slate of games.

Here’s what’s happening around the SEC:

  • Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa exited the Tide’s game against Missouri after re-aggravating his sprained knee. The injury doesn’t appear serious and Tagovailoa appears good to go against Tennessee this weekend.
  • LSU was fined $100,000 for storming the field after the win against Georgia. Correct me if I’m wrong in the comments, but I believe that was the first time since Colorado in 2010 that a team has rushed the field against the Dawgs. Which, looking back, it’s hilarious anyone would rush the field against the 2010 Dawgs.
  • After a heated exchange after the Florida vs. Vanderbilt game, the SEC will not hand out discipline to Florida coach Dan Mullen or Vanderbilt coach Derek Mason.
  • Ole Miss wide receiver DK Metcalf is out for the year with a neck injury. Here’s hoping he has a full recovery from this injury.

Until next time… GO DAWGS!!!
