It’s Notre Dame week and there’s tons of news afoot. Unfortunately we don’t have any official news on the most important front for Bulldog fans: the shape of Jacob Eason’s knee.
To be clear, there’s not a grade of knee ligament sprain that Eason could have that’s likely to be healed in a week. Jake Fromm’s your starter in South Bend this Saturday unless something miraculous happens. Those asked in both the UGA and Notre Dame locker rooms seem to think he’ll be ready.
If the UGA defense impressed you on Saturday you’re not alone. Appalachian State head coach Scott Satterfield thinks the ‘Dawgs can be among the best in the SEC.
The Bulldogs ran the ball effectively against Appalachian State, racking up over 220 yards on the ground. But it turns out some of the work at running back that most impressed Kirby Smart was done by freshman D’Andre Swift without the ball in his hands.
Know who else liked how their team ran the ball on Saturday? Fighting Irish fans.
Contrary to what you may have heard, Rudy was not offsides. He might have committed securities fraud though. Go Irish!
The U is, in fact, back. How do you know? Big ass gold chain on the sideline.
Until later...
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
