It’s only a few short hours until Jake Fromm, Nick Chubb, Sony Michel, Terry Godwin, Lorenzo Carter, Roquan Smith, and the rest of the Georgia Bulldogs march into Neyland Stadium ready to lay the smackdown on the Tennessee Volunteers. Make no mistake about it, this is a revenge game. Revenge on Neyland’s abysmal playing surface for Nick Chubb’s knee in 2015. Revenge on the Life Champions™ and Butch “Perpetual Hot Seat” Jones for the hail mary in 2016. And the Bulldogs will have their revenge.
Look, I get the desire to remain reticent or even pessimistic as we enter Week 5 of the season. After all, we are all followers of the Patron Saint of Bulldog Football, St. Larry. Or don’t. Like I said, I get it. Anyway, I’m as hyped as I’ve been in a long time and I intend to celebrate these good times for as long as they last. So let’s get this started:
This is your Gameday Morning Open Comment Thread... and it’s here to serve your commenting needs through the early games. Please feel free to share your feelings of both optimism and pessimism and to enjoy the company of your fellow Dawgs as we await this afternoon’s kickoff.
Until later...
GOOOO DAWGS!!!
