Good morning, Bulldog fans! It’s a glorious Sunday morning after your football team took care of business last night Between The Hedges. Bells have been rung, hands have been shook, golden spikes have been adorned, and... holy crap, do we have a big game next Saturday in Athens or what?
We were all glad to see Nick Chubb doing what he do. If you’ve seen any coverage , you know Chubb’s performance resulting in moving up in some of the UGA football records books (appropriately on Charley Trippi night), and The Macon Telegraph’s game summary takes a Chubby view of the game overall.
If you prefer the perspective from under center, you can always go to The Athens Banner-Herald for a little in depth dive on Jake Fromm’s efficient performance.
But maybe you’re from the Erk Russell tree, and all this nonsense about offenses and skill positions makes your ears bleed. The Red & Black must have read your mind because they put out a couple of articles on the defense overall and one with some snippets on the secondary in particular.
There are some bean counters amongst us (technically I qualify). If so, or if you’re just curious where your Hartman Fund dollars are being spent, our glorious leader and Athletic Director Greg McGarity was kind enough to give a synopsis of Friday afternoon’s UGA Athletic Associations Fall Meeting.
I’ll save you some clicks and give you the injury updates of Jacob Eason, Malkom Parrish, and Tyler Clark: there are no updates. Well, at least that I can find. Hopefully Coach Smart will let us know when the quarterback controversy should officially begin in his press conference this week, as we open up SEC play against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
We’ll have more breakdown of last nights Bulldog victory, maybe between 14-16 specific points, and plenty of thoughts and opinions. So stick around while we enjoy the next 3 hours before we start our Munsoning in earnest.
And as always...
GO ‘DAWGS!!!
