D’Andre Swift demonstrates why the UGA running game is in good hands for 2018

Please D’Andre, don’t hurt ‘em.

Don’t get me wrong, it is impossible to replace a pair of tailbacks like Sony Michel and Nick Chubb. But if you’re going to do so, having guys like D’Andre Swift, Brian Herrien, and Elijah Holyfield to do it is pretty comforting.

Swift now has 17 carries for 132 yards, putting him only 30 yards behind Sony Michel for second place on the team. His 7.5 yards per carry leads the team (Nick Chubb is second at 6.6). There have been other promising freshman tailbacks who’ve not lived up to their potential. But Swift at least clearly has all-world potential. Until later....

Go ‘Dawgs!!!
