Friday night featured some great high school matchups, but perhaps the marquee matchup of the night for UGA fans saw Justin Fields and his Harrison teammates taking on defending AAAA champion Rome and its elite defense.
Fields once again did Justin Fields things.
UNREAL!! 5-star QB Justin Fields just jumped over a Rome defender. This guy is SPECIAL. @justnfields @scoutrecruiting pic.twitter.com/p4AcUFltgE

Didn't get the W, but man @justnfields is legit. I'm biased as a fellow Justin, but look at zip/placement on TD pass + speed/balance running pic.twitter.com/DUcGqwXWfu

And former UGA commit turned LSU commit turned UGA target Adam Anderson showed off his athleticism as well.

Anderson was credited with four sacks on the night, and Fields struggled at times under duress from a Rome defense featuring as many as 6 future division one signees. Fields gave up an early fumble that led to a Rome touchdown, then was picked off late to seal a 33-21 win for the Rome Wolves.
Georgia remains a strong contendor for Jacksonville cornerback Tyreke Johnson, and last night Johnson demonstrated why he’s such a hot commodity.

Not to be outdone, recent UGA commit Kearis Jackson fired off a 62 yard punt return TD and took a screen pass 53 yards for the score as Peach County knocked off Houston County 30-7.
Bulldog tailback commit Zamir White had 13 carries for 112 yards and scored 3 touchdowns as his Scotland County squad came back from a loss last week to down Hillside 34-21. Afterward White was his usual understated self.

The nation’s top tailback recruit has carried 23 times for 287 yards (12.5 ypc) and 4 touchdowns through two games this season. Not too shabby.
Finally, 2019 linebacker Owen Pappoe recovered a muffed punt in the endzone to help Grayson defeat Alabama powerhouse Hoover 35-26.
I'd say someone is EXCITED! @GraysonramsF @opfreak15 comes up w/ it @RamsRiot
