Around the SEC

One. More. Week. I don’t know about you, but we need college football. #CFBTwitter has become even more ridiculous lately.

Here is what you may have missed around the SEC:

  • LSU named Danny Etling its starting quarterback in 2017. He really only has one job, and that is to hand it off to Derrius Guice.
  • Mississippi State LB Leo Lewis appears to have received money from both Ole Miss and Mississippi State before signing the with Bulldogs. The irony in all of this is that it became known due to the investigation into Ole Miss. Will this stop Mississippi State fans from mocking Ole Miss? Not a chance.
  • The new trees at Toomer’s Corner will not be ready for rolling for the 2017 season. Other trees have been designated for rolling.
  • The Preseason Coaches All-SEC teams. Please, in the comments, share with me how your rival’s player(s) are overrated, and how your team’s player(s) should have been included.

Until next time… GO DAWGS!!!
