Greenbrier Classic Day Two: When ‘Dawgs Attack

PGA: U.S. Open - Third Round Michael Madrid-USA TODAY Sports

It was another solid day for the ‘Dawgs on tour, with the leaders coming back to the field a bit and the UGA contingent mounting a charge.

Rookie Sebastian Munoz is still in the lead but his first round 61 gave way to a 67 on Friday. That allowed Bulldog Hudson Swafford to move within 3 shots of him and into second place. Russell Henley’s sterling 64 moved him into fourth place, four shots off the lead and in contention headed into the weekend.

Bubba Watson will also be playimg on Saturday following a 67 that leaves him where he started the day, tied for 22nd. Harris English’s 70 leaves him at -1 and tied for 56th, in the last group of golfers to make the cut.. Wh.

That means Chris Kirk and Kevin Kisner won’t be on the course tomorrow. But obviously there are multiple UGA golfers with a shot to take home the crown. You can watch the action from 1:00-2:30 pm on Golf Channel, then from 3:00 to 6:00 on CBS. Until later...

Go ‘Dawgs!!!
