British Open Sunday: Bulldogs hit the tee with something left to play for.

Saturday was not particularly kind to the former Georgia Bulldogs playing at Royal Birkdale. Russell Henley entered the day tied for 11th after shooting a solid pair of even par 70s. A 75 on Saturday relegated him to 67th on the leaderboard, 16 shots begind leader Jordan Spieth. Kevin Kisner is tied with Henley after a four over 74 of his own.

Bubba Watson began the day tied with Henley, but was only one over on the day. His 71 however makes him the top ‘Dawg headed into Sunday (T-29th).

Are any Bulldogs going to win this thing? Not unless Bubba shoots a 59 and gets a whole lotta help from above (both spiritually and on the leaderboard). But they do have something to play for. Pride. Country. And the fact that the top ten finishers including ties are automatically qualified for the 2018 Open at Carnoustie. Go get ‘em, boys. And....

Go ‘Dawgs!!!
