Kirby Smart is recruiting like a madman in his first full cycle.
That much is obvious, but if you needed any more proof, check out this statistic from ESPN Stats & Info:
The state of Georgia has 24 recruits in the ESPN 300

The tendency for the state of Georgia’s best players to play their college football elsewhere has long irked UGA fans, but this year Smart & Co. have convinced more than half of the local ESPN 300 crop to don a Georgia Bulldogs hat.
Perhaps most impressive is that all three five-star recruits in the state, DeAngelo Gibbs, Richard LeCounte and Robert Beal, Committed to the G. Not only that, the Dawgs landed another five-star in New York’s Isaiah Wilson.
Florida, Florida State and Miami each nabbed seven in-state ESPN 300 prospects, as did Michigan, meaning the four-way tie for second was not even close.
