Five star fever is apparently going around in Athens, and the contagious disease has spread from Kirby Smart to Mark Fox.

Fresh off a dominant win over Georgia Tech Tuesday, Newton class of 2019 PG Ashton Hagans decide to join the fun and commit to the G.

A top 15 player nationally, this is the highest rated commit in Fox history in line with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. An explosive 6’4 with a strong handle, great penetration skills, and an ability to finish at the rim or fd an open man, Hagans is also considered an elite defender. There is a family tie too as Hagans is the cousin of former All SEC big man Trey Thompkins (pictured above). This is the caliber recruit that can Pied Piper fellow stars, particularly around his home area Atlanta hot bed, between now and his enrollment in two years as a current high school junior.

What a time to be a Dawg!
