The Sam Pittman Express keeps rolling along, as five star offensive tackle Cade Mays of Knoxville (TN) Catholic High School just announced his commitment to the University of Georgia. Mays chose the Dawgs over Clemson and Ohio State, though he claimed offers from a veritable who's who of college football programs.
The 6'6, 325 pound senior is rated the top prospect in Tennessee and the #2 offensive tackle in the country. He's the last of the recently christened "Great Wall of Georgia" into the fold.

Mays obviously has the size Georgia has been looking to build up front. But he also has an excellent football IQ, upper body strength, good feet, and the kind of nasty streak I love to see in an offensive lineman.
With this pickup Georgia completes a five man offensive line recruiting class that is, in my assessment at least, the best in the country. This follows on the heels of Georgia signing likely the best offensive line recruiting class in the nation in 2017 as well. Kirby Smart wants his enemies driven before him, and to hear the screams and lamentations of their women.
Put another way, Kirby wants to run the dang ball. He and Sam Pittman are stockpiling a massive collection of massive young men who should make that task easier over the next few seasons.
