I said in the pregame that as Jake Fromm goes, potentially, so goes this game. So far, so good. Fromm is 9 of 10 passing for 119 yards and a touchdown, showing great confidence along the way.
The Georgia defense in turn has gotten solid pressure on Jarrett Stidham and bottled up the Tiger rushing attack. Kerryon Johnson is quite clearly not 100%, and that’s hurting the Plainsmen in pass blocking as much as in the running game.
What do the ‘Dawgs have to do to put this one away? Continue to play solid defense. Also Fromm needs to avoid making any momentum-shifting freshman mistakes. It also wouldn’t hirt if the officials would just dial it down a notch as well. Apparently they’re under the impression that people are paying $800+ a ticket to see them.
Georgia is thirty minutes away from the biggest program victory in 35 years. Let’s do this thing.
