Georgia remains #1 in college football playoff rankings

Georgia and Alabama remain numbers 1 and 2 in the college football playoff rankings’ second iteration. The Bulldogs’ upcoming opponent, the Auburn Tigers, slot in at #10 as the top two loss team in the rankings.

It’s the first time Georgia has been ranked #1 inseason in back-to-back weeks since the Reagan administration. And that’s a Bulldog point of pride.
