Winning Smart Victory Post #25: Clean Old Fashioned Hate

NCAA Football: Georgia at Georgia Tech Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

It is our intention to celebrate Georgia Bulldog Football Wins whenever and wherever they occur. The ugliness of any particular win is irrelevant for the purposes of the Winning Smart Victory Post.

It is therefore my deepest honor and privilege to bring to you this week’s edition of: Winning Smart Victory Post.

Coach Kirby Smart currently boasts a 19-6 record and a 0.760 winning percentage, having carded his eighteenth win overall over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. At the identical juncture in their careers:

Vince Dooley’s 25th game as head coach resulted in a Georgia Bulldog Win over the Ole Miss Rebels giving Coach Dooley a record of 17-7-1 and 0.700 percentage.

Coach Mark Richt was 20-5 (0.800) after beating the Arkansas Razorbacks in the 2002 SEC Championship Game during his second season as head coach.

Twenty five games in to his head coaching career Kirby Smart is one game behind Coach Mark Richt and ahead of Coach Vince Dooley by 1 ½ games. He’s holding his own versus two winningest coaches in Georgia Football History.

As always . . .

Go 'Dawgs !!!
