Before Senior Day on Saturday, we'll do our part to catch you up on what's going on in the SEC.
Here is what's happening around the SEC:
- Tennessee apparently has reservations about hiring Jon Gruden to be their new head coach. This baffles me, but, ya, go ahead and not hire him.
- It appears South Carolina coach Will Muschamp is in line to receive a contract extension and raise. I'll admit, he's done better than I thought, but when has a premature extension and raise ever come back to haunt the institution?
- Nick Saban called out Vanderbilt by saying it's tough to play everywhere in the SEC except Vandy. Yes, it isn't the most hostile environment, but I dare say the ol' Twitter adage "stick to sports" definitely applies for throwing shade at Vanderbilt.
- In Arkansas coaching rumors, Mike Leach and Gus Malzahn are two of the favorites to land the job.
Until next time... GO DAWGS!!!
