Monday ‘Dawg Bites: Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

NCAA Football: Georgia at Vanderbilt Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Less than 24 hours after announcing his commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs wing Landers Nolley announced his decommitment. I don’t know what was behind the decision, but I know it’s a pretty big blow for UGA’s 2018 class. I could see Georgia simply deciding to move on from this one, however.

Don’t look now, but after this weekend the SEC quietly has a new leading rusher. He’s baacckkkk.

I missed this the first time through, but I would hate to see what Vandy lools like against teams they aren’t built to play.

Like Bernie, I was impressed that the Georgia offense came out and scored on its firdt possession against Vandy. I was even more impressed that the ‘Dawgs also scored on their first possession of the third quarter. I can count on one hand the number of times I remember that happening in the past five seasons.

Incidentally, Bernie and I also agree that Drew Lock looked a whole lot better than we were comfortable with against Kentucky. That guy is going to be a challenge.

Among NFL Dawgs, for once yesterday wasn’t a great day to be Matthew Stafford.

A.J. Green on the other hand had a sweet touchdown catch and a ton of yards, but also some plays he’d love to have back.

Until later....

Go ‘Dawgs!!!
